After MATTHIAS'S death, Hope was sentenced to burn at the stake as a witch. Nothing could be further from the truth. Hope was not a witch. She was innocent. With no other recourse, Hope recalled the spell her father used to conjure demons and shouted it out. Demons arrived and told her that if she renounced her humanity, she would be saved. Naively, she complied.
