How did LADY DEATH get her start visually? We asked illustrator STEVEN HUGHES: "Before I came on board, LADY DEATH went through several stages. She started out as a beach blanket blond. Brian Pulido wanted to go against type. But when Brian decided to turn the character into a comib book character, that's when she became the seductress we know and love. He had her mostly figured out, then I got my hands on her!"
